A World Where All Children Are Healthy

Join Our Vision For Children’s Health

Good health is an essential foundation for development and empowers children to live fuller and freer lives. To achieve the vision that every child lives healthily, World Vision works towards better access, lasting behavioral change and strengthening community and health systems, so that vulnerable children and families do not just survive, but thrive.

According to studies by the Chinese National Committee on Women and Children and UNICEF in 2017, infectious diseases and unintentional injuries are the major causes of deaths of children under five years old in China, following deaths caused by pre-term, intra-partum or congenital complications. World Vision China focuses our efforts to protect children from preventable diseases such as diarrhea, pneumonia, and viruses like COVID-19, as well as serious injuries.

  • Providing access to clean water, proper sanitary facilities and good hygiene practices for vulnerable children to reduce childhood diseases and infections.

  • Preventing serious and fatal child injuries such as drowning, road traffic injuries and falls.
